Q2: Is this difficult to install? Can I do it myself?
A: The installation is a straightforward process for anyone comfortable with basic DIY tools and following instructions. The key step is drilling the hole in your truck bed. We provide a specialized hole cutter to make this easy. The rest involves cutting your existing exhaust, connecting the components with the provided clamps, and bolting everything into place. Many customers successfully complete the installation in a few hours.

Q3: Will this fit my truck?
A: Our exhaust stack system is designed to be a universal fit for most modern diesel pickup trucks, including popular models like Ford Super Duty, Dodge Ram diesel trucks, and GM Duramax. The universal fit is achieved through the flexible pipe and clamps in the install kit, which adapt to your vehicle's specific exhaust configuration.

Q4: Is drilling into my truck bed required?
A: Yes. This is a permanent modification. A hole must be drilled into the truck bed to route the exhaust pipe upward. We include a high-quality hole saw to ensure you get a clean, precise cut. Please measure carefully before drilling.

Q5: How will this change the sound of my truck?

A: This is primarily a stylistic and acoustic modification. A well-installed system should not create significant backpressure that hurts performance. You likely won't see measurable gains or losses in horsepower or fuel economy. The main benefits are the aggressive look and powerful sound.

Q8: What about rain and snow? Will water get into my engine?
A: No. Our exhaust stack features a cat-eye or angled cut tip specifically designed to prevent water from directly entering the exhaust pipe while maintaining a classic look. This allows exhaust gases to escape easily but deflects rain and snow.

Q9: Can I still use a truck bed cover or toolbox?
A: This depends entirely on the specific design and fitment of your accessories. The stack will occupy space in the corner of your bed. You will need to choose a tonneau cover that can fit around it (e.g., a cover designed for beds with stacks) or modify a toolbox to clear the pipe. It's crucial to plan your layout before installation.
