The 6.4L Powerstroke is capable of making massive horsepower, but pushing extreme boost and heavy fuel means the factory plastic valve covers become a severe weak point. Under high heat and cylinder pressures, OEM covers are notorious for flexing, warping, and blowing out seals.

It eliminates the bulky factory passenger-side CCV box and assumes a custom glow plug harness route (or competition glow plug delete). The result is an ultra-clean, show-stopping engine bay and the flexibility to run a high-performance external catch can system.

Q: How does the "shaved" design affect my glow plug harness?
