Description

A Cold Air Intake System positions the filter outside the engine compartment to ensure the coolest possible air inlet temperatures. Cooler air contains more oxygen, leading to a more powerful explosion in the combustion chamber, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. However, this is just one aspect of the power equation. Adjusting the length and diameter of the inlet pipe to harmonize with the engine's resonance helps push more air into the cylinders (consider your engine as a large air pump). This tuning enables the system to provide maximum power gains across the entire RPM range.
